APR 19: Nest damaged and female eaglet grounded and injured

I am on the road and have serious connectivity problems. The nest had been damaged by last Sunday's severe thunderstorm.  Part of the right (west) side of the nest had dropped down and the nest bole had tilted to the left. Yesterday Phil texted me to report that the nest had collapsed and the larger (presumably the female) eaglet was grounded. He contacted FWS/FWCC and recovered the female. She was injured and crying in pain. Phil transported her to Pelican Harbor Seabird Station where she was diagnosed with a broken right wing. She is undergoing treatment there. The smaller (presumably male) eaglet is still on what remains of the nest. SEE COMMRENTS (APRIL 20): This fallen eaglet is actually the smaller eaglet, probably hatched around April 10 and is therefore about 5 weeks old).
